This is the last day that iPhone the Original reigns supreme in the phone world, for tomorrow marks the beginning of the reign of iPhone 3G, the next generation of kickass phones for people with lots of money, or willing to shell out more money than they think.

For those of you who are stuck with their old iPhone, or (Like me) have an iTouch, you can actually download the iPhone 2.0 firmware early, before all the rage comes out, because it’s going to be hell once it gets out. By the way, download the firmware at your own risk. It seems legit, but you never know.

One of the first posts I ever made on this blog happened to be about the original iPhone when it came out last year, and it’s something that I’ve followed over the course of the year. I’ve seen about five people with iPhones, but it is quite the popular thing to talk about.

That being said, it is with regret that this will be my last post on this blog regarding the iPhone, at least for awhile. Why, you ask? Well, I just recently signed a contract with b5media to head up their new iPhone blog! The kinks aren’t completely done yet, but expect to see the new blog real soon!
