I have an entire RSS folder dedicated to Productivity, and have had one for two years. As such, I want to share my favorites with you guys. Most of these are relatively mainstream, but for those new to productivity, you’ll get a kick out of them, and if you’re not, at least read my thoughts on them,

Lifehacker: Top in my productivity choices, Lifehacker has everything one needs to become more productive in whatever it is that they do. Lifehacker also serves as one of my primary sources of information about new software that’s out and about. I learned about Live Writer this way, as well as Digsby and Cygwin. It’s a great place to start finding ways to be more productive.

Web Worker Daily - Although the site is dedicated to freelancers and telecommuters who use the web, a lot of their information can be easily adapted to just about anyone. BONUS: Web Worker Daily also has a book for sale which has information on various web sites and ways to boost productivity, which of course can also include students. See Connect! A guide to a new way of working for more info.

Dumb Little Man - One of the up-and-comers in productivity blogging, DLM offers its own take on being productive. Although not as frequently updated as the previous two, it’s definitely worth a good read. However, I dislike the fact that the blog seems to have occasional sidetracks into Personal Development, which I guess is unavoidable when dealing with productivity, but if I want to know why my life sucks, I’ll go read Steve Pavlina.

Working at Home on the Internet - Another Web-Worker based website that seems to act more like a hub for productivity on the net. Its main feature is its Blog Carnivals, which are links to even more cool stuff. It seems, however, to be more of a linking blog then an site with real original content, but you should check out The Blog vs Website writing project to get something if you win.

Freelance Switch - This website is obviously not on productivity. It’s on operating as a Freelancer. But, it also offers several tricks and tactics for organizing and interacting with people that could be used in regular jobs. Definitely worth a read.
