As I write this, I’m sitting in TUAW’s chat room where the topic is on Apple’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference, but considering that the room currently has 1000+ people in it, and the mode is set to +m (Meaning only certain people can chat,) I’m not having a real good time. Incidentally, I might add that this is the first time I’ve booted up mIRC to connect to an IRC server in almost four years.

But what I see right now is people clamoring all over the place. The Church of Apple is opening, and everyone wants in. Summize is using Twitter to Follow the WWDC as it goes on.

Thing is, though, if you’re not a developer, you only care about one thing: The Keynote.

The Keynote

The Keynote is where the most high god Steve Jobs will pull a Deus Ex Machina, complete with sweater and various tech goodies, as well as what will most likely be an awesome Keynote presentation (Which I will attempt to rip off yet again next year in my classes.) He will discuss various things which no average person will give a shit, but then talk about a new iPhone/OS/Whatever that will have people singing “Glory be to iGod Steve!”

He will end his message upon his followers by stating the holy blessing of his speech: One More Thing. This is the sign to all the world that their time with the blessed one is almost at an end, but not to worry, as iGod always has one last blessing to bestow upon the people of Earth. Many wonder what holy gifts iGod will bestow upon this Earth. Many wonder how they will change the world. Many people also wonder how iGod will bring Love, Harmony, and things other gods do, but they are quickly labeled Microsoft Fanboys Heretics.

What new things will Steve Jobs create? Will we see a new iPhone, or a new Macbook? Or a new Iphonebook? Or maybe something totally new, like an iToilet or something.

Only iGod knows…not even God knows what will happen.
