Seriously, between the iPhone and the CheapPhone, there seems to be a significant lack of flip phones for people to use. I don’t know about you, but I really am not fond of phones like the Treo, LG Chocolate, Most Nokia Phones (Though my main phone is one…a rare Nokia flip phone) and of course, the iPhone.
What do I got against non-flip phones?
Plenty. For one, it’s easier to break a candybar/smartphone then it is to break a flip phone, mainly because the main screen is protected. Plus, with a flip phone, you don’t need to worry about the main screen getting all scratched up by shit in your pocket. Yes, yes, there are carrying cases for these phones, but you shouldn’t need to have extra stuff in your pocket.
Additionally, cell phones are big, with the exception of flip phones. I carry a lot of junk in my pocket, and I don’t need BIG anything. Plus, in my opinion, when you’re sweaty, or exercising, or anything of the sort, having that screen next to your skin really isn’t my idea of a good time. Honestly, I feel it would be bad to put something as beautiful as the iPhone next to your sweaty face.
Lastly, the flip phone allows you to quickly answer a call without having to press buttons. Good for when you’re driving…but you shouldn’t be doing that anyway.
On a side note, Does anyone own that stupid Pantech phone AT&T has? You know, that really small flip phone that’s about the size of a thumb? What the hell was the point of that phone?
