Lemme go ahead and tell you kiddies about something downright horrible that has happened in the blogosphere. Over the last few months, an asshole named Ashwin Kanna decided to announce that he was running a blog contest where you could win $2,500. Blogging Contest immediately called him on it, calling it full of crap.

Phil of Blogging Contests noted that Ashwin had no deadline for the sweepstakes, of which one was magically added. Later, Ashwin changed the deal on his contest, something you never do with a contest. Now 50 readers were needed for the contest.

At the end of it all, the recipient of the $2,500….was A site that was created two days ago on wordpress.com….how fucking convenient, huh? By the way, I’ll have you know that I reported that piece of shit as spam on Wordpress.com, and I suggest all of you do the same as well!

In the end, the butthead got what he wanted, a PR of 4, an extraordinary Technorati authority rank, and backlinks upon backlinks. Congratulations, you motherfucking sorry-ass excuse of a human.

So, what to do?

This is what I propose you do: If you were one of the people unfortunate enough to believe this idiot, I want you to replace whatever text he has and replace it with the most insulting anchor text you can possibly think of. This way, if anyone decides to Google, say, “douchebag blogger,” they’ll get this guy. But Please use any evil anchor text you want. Also, if you also backlink this post as well, I’ll write up a list of all the people who changed their anchor text who pingback this post (So long as I don’t get bombed with trackbacks) and pick a favorite or two. Again, don’t expect me to put all 400 or so on my blog at once. I’m not a machine, give me time.

ALSO: If you didn’t take on the contest, DO NOT DO ANYTHING! We don’t want this fucker to get any more attention then he already has. Let the blogosphere see him for who he truly is.
