I came across two Mashables posts yesterday: One that had over 30 resources for freelancers, and one that had over 30 ways to make money online. I decided to borrow from both ends of the spectrum, and see how I can grab some goodies. These are the sites I’m using from both posts:

  • Daytipper: Post a tip to the website, and if accepted, you get $3 for it!
  • Associated Content: A collaboration site for the new media. You write for them, they pay you a portion of ad revenue. I believe this site also just landed another $10 million as well.
  • PayPerPost: I know a few of you think me a sneak for the occasional review (cough…Alicia…cough,) but in my opinion, as long as your posts arent 24-7 sponsored shit, it’s cool to have a review. Besides, I’m sorta BROKE, and could use the cash, and if .
  • Amazon Mechanical Turk: It’s only a few cents a job, but it’s really easy work. You’re basically doing what a computer can’t do (Yet) for pennies on the dollar. I’m hoping it all adds up.
  • Blogitive: I’ve applied for this site, and I hope I get approved. You get paid for writing opinions of products, not just reviews. Hopefully, I’ll be using this over PayPerPost.
  • eJury: Render verdicts on mock trials. They pay $5-15 dollars per verdict. Problem is, they require a Driver’s License, something I don’t wish to give out willy nilly.
  • ReviewMe: I’d use this over PPP, but again, I don’t seem to be wanted there yet.
  • Cafepress: If I start up another blog, or if this blog does well, I might start prepping up some merchandise. I got enough graphic design skills to come up with something basic, and I know a few friends in the Graphic Design field in Long Beach who could give me a hand as well.
  • Tutor.com: I’ll try my hand at tutoring people in English, Social Studies, and some math, provided I get in. Hey, I’m gonna be teaching in a month anyway.

These are my picks for making some dough online. Above all, it’s a good portfolio, and it might be enough to cover for eating at my favorite restaurants, among other things.
