One of the biggest points I’ve seen thus far on Lorelle VanFossen’s book on Blogging (Yes, I got it) is that you can link to other people’s content, so long as you offer your opinion on the link in question. However, there comes a time when you must take what has been placed down upon you and turn it into something truly incredible.
A blogger posts a horrid post on something. Given the proper permissions (Either through CC or direct permission,) you can make the post into something far more interesting. That’s exactly what a few people did when they came across a horrid video game monstrosity…
You may know the Legend of Zelda series as one of the finest game series the world has ever seen. What you may not know is that this legendary (no pun intended) series also has a few black sheep: Namely two video games that Nintendo and Phillips were supposed to work on together, but due to circumstances involving the death of a CD-addon for the Super NES, Phillips ended up creating three Zelda games. Two of these games are particularily infamous: Link: The Faces of evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon. After seeing the opening for The Faces of Evil below, I think you’ll agree: Phillips should stick to technology.
Now, I need you to check out the other three videos below, then click on the next page to learn how both games got “Repurposed” on Youtube.

If you decided to click around the Youtube videos related to the video games, you may have noticed a few…parodies. These are the movies created by users who took the two games and spliced them into different things. Collectively, they are known as Youtube Poop.
Those who created the Youtube poop took that which was downright horrible, and turned it into something far greater then it was ever initially. Because Nintendo pretends these games don’t exist, youtubers have pretty much free play to obliterate both games.
This is my second favorite (My real favorite isn’t safe for work:) It’s a remix of both games as a techno mix known as “Drop the Dodongo:”
